Serve, With Love

When we look into the eyes of an animal, we don’t see a dog or a cat. We see depth, magic, and love. We see something ancient, something beautiful, something worthy of our entire life’s purpose. We work with the following charities and encourage you to learn more about their efforts.

Special Needs Rescue Services, Inc.
Coco’s Cupboard
Fayette County Humane Society
St. Nick’s Closet

Slide Special Needs Rescue Services, Inc. Sweeney Special Needs Services is housed at Fairview Farm, a 20 acre farm & residence in Grantville, GA. This non-profit rescue caters to special needs pets including dogs, cats, and horses. Special needs pets include shelter animals, strays, owner turn-ins, etc. who are elderly or who have existing and often significant medical conditions.

Nearly all of these pets begin their journey at The Animal Medical Clinic to receive full diagnostic, medical, and surgical care until they are fully healed and all chronic medical conditions are appropriately managed. Most pets are adopted out to loving homes that have been screened to be appropriate for the animal’s needs while others remain in sanctuary at the farm.

Slide Healing4Heroes http://www.healing4heroes.org/

Healing4Heroes helps our military personnel and veterans move forward after being wounded either physically and/or mentally with the assistance of service animals. Healing4Heroes™ also saves the lives of unwanted shelter dogs by rescuing them and training them to become fully trained, A.D.A. compliant service animals. These dogs allow our soldiers to move forward and live more productive lives by allowing them to deal more effectively with their traumas and giving them the confidence and security to start to heal. At the same time, our veterans give these dogs a purpose in life and the chance to be loved and part of a family. The dogs and training are provided free of charge to each veteran at a cost of approximately $6000 per dog paid for completely by the organization.

The Animal Medical Clinic is proud to provide care for many Healing4Heroes dogs before they begin their new role as therapy/support animals. Upon visiting our Peachtree City location, you will often find our team providing extra socialization and exercise for the dogs in the program and group training sessions take place often.
