Dr. Chris Dallas
Dr. Dallas comes to us all the way from the Pacific Northwest. Although a native to the Evergreen State, Dr. Dallas wrestled NCAA Division I at Oregon State University where he completed his undergraduate degree in Animal Sciences along with a chemistry minor. He then returned home to continue his education at Washington State University where he graduated with his doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. Ever since he was a young child, Dr. Dallas had been curious to what life in the Southeastern United States was like. It would be another 22 years before Dr. Dallas ever left the west coast; let alone see a firefly for the first time. Upon arrival, Dr. Dallas became captivated by southern culture and southern hospitality. Growing up with a love for fishing, Dr. Dallas is eager to try his hand at red snapper, catfish, and bass fishing.
During veterinary school, Dr. Dallas fell in love with small animal soft tissue and orthopedic surgery. That love is closely followed by an incredible passion for veterinary radiology. Dr. Dallas hopes to bring some new options for small animal surgery to The Animal Medical Clinic in the future. In addition, he is eager to continue to develop his ultrasonography skills to supplement the already robust ultrasonographical diagnostic services that our hospitals currently offer. When he is not seeing our furry friends, Dr. Dallas enjoys fly fishing, ranching, rebuilding classic American muscle cars, shooting guns, and mountain biking. Dr. Dallas and his chocolate Himalayan cat named Meru are extremely excited to be a part of The Animal Medical Clinic team and look forward to helping your family members live as long as they could, as well as they should.
