Dr. Vince Obsitnik
“Dr. Vince” earned his veterinary degree from Tufts University in Massachusetts and completed a medicine and surgery internship in New York City. He moved to Peachtree City in 1996 with his wife, “Dr. Suzy” and children. Today the 2 veterinarians have 5 kids and are very active in many aspects of Peachtree City life. Dr. Vince knew he wanted to be a vet at the age of 8 when his parents surprised him and his brothers with a Brittany Spaniel puppy. At work, Dr. Vince enjoys surgery, especially knee surgery where he performs a unique surgery called “TTA” for torn knee ligaments. Dr. Vince is devoted to making sure his clients and patients receive the most personal and professional care possible. Outside of his life as a veterinarian, Dr. Vince spends his time with his 5 kids, especially in their sports and church activities. Any time left over he devotes to riding his mountain bike or his road bike.
Dr. Vince loves his calling as a veterinarian and a father. He looks forward to every day at work where there is never a shortage of interesting people and pets to meet.
Dr. Jeff Richardson
“Dr. Jeff” moved to Peachtree City in 1999 with his wife, Aimee, who was born and raised here. A graduate of Auburn University’s College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Jeff is very thankful to be able to take care of your pets every day! He grew up on a farm in Kentucky where he raised pigs, cows, goats, rabbits and numerous dogs and cats. He has one of the quickest wits around and has almost as many animal stories to tell as James Herriot.
Dr. Jeff enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and two children. They enjoy traveling, camping, hiking, bicycling and scouting. They are also very active in their church where Dr. Jeff is the deacon in charge of mission work.
Dr. Jeff is a devoted family man and a devoted veterinarian. He has a great interest in dentistry, all types of surgery, and senior pet care. His goal is for your pets to live very long, happy and healthy lives. He gives pet owners his full attention. He realizes that they view their pets as members of the family, just as he views his own pets.
Dr. William “Rip” Landrum
“Dr. Rip” has been treating dogs and cats in Peachtree City longer than anyone. However, he never tires of seeing his many dog and cat patients. He earned his veterinary degree from Mississippi State University. Dr. Rip and his wife, Louise, spend almost all of their free time either with their church or traveling all over the country in their motor home (they have been across the country twice). They are avid restauranteurs and have the distinction of having eaten at every restaurant within 30 miles of Peachtree City. At work, Dr. Rip is particularly interested in internal medicine and soft tissue surgery. Dr. Rip’s passion is maintaining the close, friendly, “small town” relationship with all of the people and pets he has been fortunate to meet over the past 20 years.
Dr. Suzy Obsitnik
“Dr. Suzy” attended the University of Notre Dame and received her veterinary degree from Tufts University. After graduation, Dr. Suzy served as a medical intern in Los Angeles. She has received extensive training in advanced medical diagnostics including ultrasound, echocardiography, and endoscopy. Dr. Suzy spends the majority of her time with her 5 kids and volunteers extensively at the elementary, middle and high schools. She also has a continually developing passion for tennis. Dr. Suzy feels blessed to be able to spend her days helping kids, diagnosing our patients with ultrasound and serving and volleying tennis balls on the local courts.
Dr. Chris Schwenk
“Dr. Chris” joined The Animal Medical Clinic in 2004 after graduating from Auburn University School of Veterinary Medicine – War Eagle! Don’t worry, he loves to treat all dogs, including bulldogs, and does a great job with cats also. Dr. Chris and his wife Jennifer live in Peachtree City and they enjoy swimming, biking and jogging on the cart paths. Dr. Chris also donates much of his free time helping our wet friends at the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta. At work, Dr. Chris enjoys surgery and treating dogs and cats who have skin and eye problems. Dr. Chris is well known for giving his patients and clients his full attention. He feels like he is living a dream, having wanted to be a veterinarian since he was a young boy.
Dr. Jessica Loch

Dr. Loch became the 3rd veterinarian to join our hospital from Auburn University in 2007. Dr. Loch is a native of Alabama and lives with her husband, beautiful young daughter and very active son in Lagrange. She was raised on her family’s cattle and chicken farm where she learned the value of hard work, community and family, and developed her southern accent. Dr. Loch has a passion for pet dental care and we consider her to be our resident dentist. She can usually be found at work pouring over dental x-rays of one of her patients looking for the problem tooth which is causing pain. Dr. Loch is especially proud of all of the phone calls she receives from her clients telling her how much happier their dog or cat is after having good dental care.
Dr. TJ McDonnell
“Dr. Mac” joined our practice family after moving to Peachtree City in 2008. Having achieved early acceptance to veterinary school, Dr. Mac spent a total of 7 years at Auburn University earning his bachelor’s degree and Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (and watching plenty of football). Dr. Mac and his wife, Mary Kathryn, have 2 young daughters who keep them very busy along with their cat and 4 dogs. At work, Dr. Mac enjoys surgery and has special interest in internal medicine and dermatology. He spends much of his day with his clients explaining why their pet is itching and how to control their allergies. Dr. Mac is as thorough as they come and is devoted to answering every question his clients have.
Dr. John Keenan
Dr. John Keenan graduated from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in May 2011. Go Dawgs! He has lived in Peachtree City for most of his life, attending Huddleston Elementary School, Booth Middle School, and McIntosh High School. If he looks familiar, it is because he worked as an assistant at The Animal Medical Clinic while earning his undergraduate degree at Georgia State University. Dr. Keenan became interested in veterinary medicine at an early age, growing up in a house full of pets: dogs, cats, snakes, hamsters, hermit crabs, iguanas, and ferrets. His favorite pet memory as a child is playing with his tortoise named Mortoise. He is especially proud of his current pets, two cats named Mittens and PJ. In his free time he enjoys watching movies, playing trivia, and reading. His particular areas of interest include internal medicine, surgery, and neurology. Dr. Keenan is excited about his new career as a veterinarian and looks forward to taking care of your four-legged family members.
